These terms and conditions apply to all transactions placed online, over the telephone, via fax/e-mail or through the post with Prochem Australia stores or Website. By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions. All references to the 'company', 'we' or Prochem will refer to Prochem Australia. All references to 'you' or the 'customer' refer to the person or persons purchasing or agreeing to purchase goods or services from the company. References to the Web Site includes all URL's owned or licensed by Prochem Australia Pty Ltd.

Queensland law governs these terms and conditions. Your use of our Web Site means that you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Queensland court. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your non-excludable statutory rights.

This Web Site and our terms and conditions have been designed for use within Australia and under Queensland law. Whilst we are happy to supply products to outside Queensland, we give no warranty, express or implied, that the use of this Web Site or the placing of any order through this Web Site from outside Queensland complies with any applicable non-Queensland laws or regulations. Accordingly, any products or promotions not permitted under your local law are not offered to you.

Prochem Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to revise change these terms & conditions at any time.

Placing a website order & payment.

Orders can be placed online through the Website via our secure server. Please do not e-mail your credit card details to Prochem, we can not be held responsible for the security of information sent in this way.

Credit Cards Fees

From the 1st October 2011, all VISA and Mastercard payments of $1500 and over will attract a 2% processing fee. Amex card payments attracting a 3% processing fee.

These fees will be added to your account/invoice when payment is being processed.

Debit cards will not attract and fees when the CHQ or SAV option on the keypad is used.

If you do not wish to pay for your order by credit card, we also accept direct bank deposits. When your order is placed, an email will be sent to you with our bank account details. Please use your order number as the bank reference number so we can identify your payment and dispatch your products as soon as payment has been received.

Please note: Orders will only be dispatched if your account is in terms. Any out of terms amounts will need to be paid for prior to dispatch of any new orders.

Because you receive additional discounts and benefits by ordering online, all website orders are prepaid.

Credit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorised by the card issuer. Prochem is not liable for late or non-delivery of items if the card issuer refuses to authorize payment. We will contact you as soon as possible to advise you if your payment is declined however.


Prices and offers available online may vary on occasion from those found in our stores or offered in any promotions. Prices and availability of all goods are subject to change without prior notice. All prices are shown in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of GST.

We make every effort to ensure that product specifications and descriptions are as accurate as possible, we accept no responsibility for errors or omissions and we reserve the right to alter product specifications without prior notice.

Ownership of Goods.

All items supplied to you remain the property of Prochem Australia Pty Ltd until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us.

A Contract between the customer and Prochem Australia for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched (at which point the buyers credit/debit card will be charged for the value of the goods dispatched, plus any applicable freight), and the goods have been adopted. This does not affect the customer's statutory rights.

Exchanges & Returns.

If we dispatch the wrong item or you find that the goods are faulty, you can return them for a full refund (including any delivery charges) within 14 days after the receipt of the goods. Simply return the goods along with a copy of the original receipt and a returns form [pdf returns form.]

If we have dispatched the goods as ordered but you do not want them, they may be returned for a refund within 7 days after the receipt of the goods. In this case any delivery charges incurred are non-refundable, only the cost of the goods will be refunded less a 15% restocking fee.

Any items returned for refund or exchange must be unused and still have their original labeling and packaging. Nothing in these conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer. The card used to make the purchase will be credited with the original purchase amount (less any delivery/restocking charges due where appropriate.)

Purchases are subject to the provisions of our returns policy outlined above. When returning goods to Prochem we recommend that they are sent using recorded delivery with insurance paid as a minimum, you are liable for this charge. We cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit while being returned to us.

All products are guaranteed against failure to provide reasonable wear owing to defective workmanship or materials. The guarantee lasts 12 months from the date of the original invoice (unless otherwise stated) and excludes faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse. Should you need to make a claim please return the item with a copy of the original receipt to our stores.

Out of Stock.

We aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible. If any item you have chosen is unavailable you will be contacted as soon as possible. We may be able to offer you an alternate product.
